Hello Everyone,

As you are all aware, our Nash School Family has many enthusiastic football fans.  And, the majority of us cheer for either the Chicago Bears or the Green Bay Packers.  The first Bear/Packer game of the 2012-13 season will take place tomorrow night.  So, in the spirit of this friendly rivalry we are inviting our staff members, students and parents to arrive to school tomorrow wearing their favorite team’s apparel.   

Please stress to our children the idea of friendly competition.  We can all be peaceful, respectful members of this Nash School Family while rooting enthusiastically for our favorite teams.  This is an important lesson for our children to learn.  And, our parents and teachers can play a vital role in communicating this important message to our children. 

I’m looking forward to wearing my green and gold tomorrow and enjoying a friendly rivalry with my fellow Nash School Family members in blue and orange.

“Every Child Matters”

Succede che in ufficio si ricevono incoraggiamenti a presentarsi al lavoro con i colori della propria squadra... cuscini, cappellini, felpe, jersey, magliette, mugs e accessori di ogni tipo.
Succede che non si parla d'altro... da una scrivania all'altra, nell'area caffe' e macchinette, per i corridoi. Tutti, uomini, donne indistintamente, giovani e vecchi, tutti con lievi sberleffi, moderati e leggeri sfotto' ma soprattutto con elegante e cortese rispetto.
Poi a un certo punto, verso le 4 di pomeriggio, l'ufficio si svuota istantaneamente neanche fosse un venerdi' prefestivo o il giorno prima della vigilia di Natale.
Tutti via, tutti a casa davanti alla tele e i piu' fortunati hanno gia' puntato la macchina verso Nord dal primissimo pomeriggio per raggiungere il mitico catino (Lambeau Field) di Green Bay!
La rivalita' e' talmente sentita che anche su Wikipedia c'e' una pagina apposta... di quelle lunghe-lunghe con mille richiami e statistiche.

E si va al riposo a meta' gara...

E vittoria ai Packers!!!
